Tony Matelli, born in 1971, is a magician of the painting on bronze. His works play on the dualities convene the real and the imaginary. They claim the sometimes absurd simplicity of everyday life and question the order of things. The work presented at the Donjon de Vez is part of this aesthetic line. Like the tree planted in city or around car parks, the work of Matelli plays representations established by transforming flowers and leafs to coins and American bills.
